Participating on the Board of Directors gives you visibility allowing people to get to know you and your business. Members of the board are elected once a year and serve a term of 2 years. Some members are voted in and some are appointed to provide the quality leadership needed to run the organization. Another way for members to get to know you and your business is by volunteering on one of the many committees chaired by the Board of Directors.
